History
1970: Panagiotis Marchomichalis starts his business in the pump field.
1973: MARCO PUMPS Ltd is established and starts importing and distributing pumps in Greece
1974: MARCO CONSTRUCTIONS Ltd is established, manufacturing and assembling pump units,
booster sets and fire-fighting systems.
1974: Packaged fire-fighting systems MPFC and booster sets MPC are supplied by MARCO PUMPS
for the first time in the Greek market.
1985: Our northern Greece branch office in the city of Thessaloniki is established.
1986: MARCO PUMPS SA - P. Marchomichalis & Son is established.
1992: MARCO PUMPS SA aquires the company Igrokininsi SA.
1994: Premisies are transferd to new company-owned area and building, covering a total area
of 3090 m2 at 97 Athens-Piraeus Ave, in Piraeus.
2008: Our branch office in Thessaloniki is transfered to new building in the industrial area of Sindos.
