Description Vasco line is a family of frequency converters can vary the speed of an AC motor
based on a signal coming from an appropriate transducer placed at the point where the physical quantity has to be controlled (pressure, flow , fluid temperature of and more).
Uses
Line of VASCO inverters is widely used in the residential sector for suction, distribution and transport of water and making booster systems ; in the HVAC field for conditioning and heating in circulation systems, in the industrial sector to transport and for the distribution of refrigerant and cooling fluids ; in the agricultural sector for irrigation systems.
Advantages.
The undiscussed benefits getting with the use of a frequency converter coupled to a pump compared to conventional system can be briefly summerised as follows:
Energy saving: pump is operated only as and when needed to avoid unnecessary waste of energy with consequent lengthening of lifetime of the system.
On constant pressure control mode pump ensures maximum performances from time to time as changing the speed to only needed to satisfy water demand; so the noise generated by the operation of the pump is considerably lower for a greater confort of the user.
Simple installations if compared to conventional system as any regulator equipment is useless becasue the control is largely satisfied by the inverter itself.
NO more peaks in pressure or water hammer as the inverter acts as soft start and soft stop representing a substantial increase in the lifetime of the system and relevant components.
All protections are effectively guaranteed by the inverter itself (see the relevant chapter) thus avoiding to install and additional control panel (it just needs a circuit breaker contactor before the system).

Combo mode
Up to max 8 VASCOs can be installed and connected in parallel via RS485 protocol. Each VASCO can control up to two more pumps in DOL starting.
